COMPETITION RULES – “GUESS WHO STAYED HERE?”
1. Organiser of the Competition
The organiser of the “Guess Who Stayed Here?” competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”) is CPI Hotels, a.s., operator of Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev, with its registered office at Bečvářova 2081/14, 100 00 Prague 10, Company ID No.: 47116757 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”).
The Competition takes place on the official Facebook and Instagram profiles of Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev.
2. Competition Period
The Competition runs from 21 September 2026 to 19 October 2026 and is divided into four separate competition rounds:
Round 1: Question published on 21 September 2026, draw on 28 September 2026
Round 2: Question published on 29 September 2026, draw on 5 October 2026
Round 3: Question published on 6 October 2026, draw on 12 October 2026
Round 4: Question published on 13 October 2026, draw on 19 October 2026
Participants may enter each individual round from the moment the competition post is published until 11:59 p.m. on the day before the draw.
3. Competition Mechanism
In each competition round, the Organiser will publish one question related to the history of the hotel and its notable guests on the Facebook and Instagram profiles of Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev.
Participants can discover the correct answer directly at Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev or in the book Fenomén Zlatý Lev, which will be available for viewing at the hotel reception throughout the Competition.
To enter the Competition, participants must post the correct answer in a comment under the relevant competition post on Facebook or Instagram during the respective competition round.
4. Conditions of Participation
The Competition is open to any natural person aged 18 or over with a delivery address in the Czech Republic who meets the conditions set out in these Rules.
Each participant may be entered into the draw only once per competition round, even if they submit the correct answer on both Facebook and Instagram.
Employees of the Organiser and persons close to them are excluded from participating in the Competition.
5. Draw and Selection of the Winner
Correct answers submitted under the relevant competition post on both Facebook and Instagram will be included in the draw.
From all comments containing the correct answer, one winner will be selected at random in each competition round using the Comment Picker tool (commentpicker.com).
If the same participant submits the correct answer on both Facebook and Instagram, they will be included in the final draw only once.
The winner will be announced via the official social media channels of Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev and/or contacted by private message through the profile used to enter the Competition.
If the winner does not contact the Organiser within 7 days of the announcement of the prize, the Organiser reserves the right to draw an alternative winner.
6. Prizes
One winner will be selected in each of the four competition rounds.
The specific prize for each competition round will not be announced in advance. The prize will be revealed together with the announcement of the winner after the respective competition round has ended.
The prizes for the individual competition rounds are determined by the Organiser.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or replaced with another prize at the winner’s request.
7. Personal Data Protection
By participating in the Competition, participants acknowledge that the Organiser will process, to the extent necessary, personal data required for the organisation and administration of the Competition, contacting the winner and delivering the prize.
The winner’s name and/or social media username may be published on the Organiser’s social media channels and website in connection with the announcement of the Competition results.
Personal data obtained in connection with the Competition will not be used for any other purposes without another applicable legal basis.
8. Relationship with Meta
This Competition is in no way sponsored, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
Participants provide their information to the Organiser of the Competition and not to Meta.
9. Final Provisions
The Organiser reserves the right to exclude from the Competition any participant who fails to comply with the Competition conditions, provides false information or attempts to influence the course or results of the Competition in violation of these Rules.
The Organiser reserves the right, for important reasons, to modify, shorten, extend or cancel the Competition. Any changes will be published in the same manner as these Rules.
The Organiser is not responsible for technical issues affecting Facebook or Instagram that may prevent or otherwise affect participation in the Competition.
By participating in the Competition, participants confirm that they have read and agree to these Rules.
These Rules take effect on 21 September 2026.
